Since 2017, Black Legend Capital has created a platform to facilitate the trade of cannabidiol (CBD) oil and isolate from cultivators and extractors to wholesale buyers in the pharmaceuticals, skincare & cosmetics, and food & beverage sectors, among others. Since the platform’s inception, Black Legend Capital has worked on trades ranging from 200 Kg to 5,000 Kg of CBD Isolate, with strong demand from each sector, adding operational value to many of our financial clients. With multiple established suppliers, we have created a robust platform to ensure that product makes its way from farm to destination.

Cannabis – Corix Bioscience, CBD Healthcare

2017/2018

In 2017 and 2018, Black Legend Capital has provided financing and advisory services for Corix, a publicly traded company (OTC Markets: CXBS) that is becoming one of the largest producers of CBD and genetics in the cannabis industry. The funds have been used for several acquisitions and purchases of equipment and real estate. Corix is in contract with some of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies and America’s leading health care providers. Corix has domestic and international cultivation and distribution licenses and is expected to report $50 million in revenue by the end of 2018.

Technology – Ameritek Ventures, Fiber Optics

2017/2018
In 2017 and 2018, Black Legend Capital worked on Ameritek Ventures, a publicly traded company (OTC Markets: ATVK) headquartered in Las Vegas. Ameritek manufactures the preforms used to make fiber optics and has gained market share rapidly against the single supplier monopolizing the Fiber Optics preform market by providing a second sourcing option, reducing risk and price. The Company is also in advanced negotiations to supply fiber optic preforms to many companies around the world, including Ericsson.

Consumer Products – Kimberly Parry Organics, Skin Care

2017
In 2017, Black Legend Capital provided advisory services and took private Kimberly Parry Organics, an organic skin care company headquartered in Utah. Kimberly Organics raises awareness and inspires responsibility by providing excellent products that are efficacious, environmentally conscious, and suitable for adults, babies and pets. Their products are a culmination of over twenty-five years of R&D on ingredients to provide you with safe, effective solutions to today’s inundated beauty care market.

Tech & Consumer Products in Healthcare – YGM Group

2017
In 2017, Black Legend Capital refinanced the current debt and provided advisory services for YGM, a medical device e-commerce company headquartered in New York. YGM is expanding beyond e-commerce into further high growth and niche healthcare markets with their other two divisions, WellnessCodes and MedPod. The combination of these three divisions will revolutionize the healthcare industry by promoting the use of wearable electronic trackers, doctor prescribed remote monitoring home kits and sophisticated online integrators to manage the system.

Technology – Flitways Technology

2017

In 2017, Black Legend Capital provided financing and advisory services for Flitways, a publicly traded (OTC Markets: FTWS) B2B Ride-Sharing Company in the Enterprise Ground Transportation Industry, headquartered in Los Angeles. This company is a B2B rideshare platform that offers a convenient, cost-effective ground transportation solution for corporate travelers and a new source of revenue for travel businesses (airlines, travel agencies, hotels, and more). In April 2017, the company announced a strategic partnership with Lyft to expand its supply and meet exponentially growing demand for corporate ground transportation

They have a well-established enterprise clientele, including Amazon, American Express, Samsung, Nintendo, Concur, Xerox, Citrix and HSBC.

Ancillary Cannabis – Solis Tek Digital Lighting

2016/2017

In 2016 and 2017, Black Legend Capital provided valuation analysis and financing for Solis Tek, a publicly traded (OTC Markets: SLTK) software based digital lighting and nutritional supplements provider company in the cannabis industry, headquartered in California. The funds were used to launch a new product line, initiate their marketing campaign, fund general working capital, and start their investor relations campaign. It is the only company in the industry that can design/formulate, manufacture, warehouse, sell and distribute both nutrients and lighting together under one roof. The CTO has consulted on over 200+ commercial cannabis gardens and has provided hydroponic support to both NASA and the DOD.

Consumer Products – Pit Bull Energy Products, Food & Beverage

2016

In 2016, Black Legend Capital provided valuation analysis and a bridge loan for Pit Bull Energy Products. Founded in 2001, Hip Hop Beverage Corporation (HHBC) is a consumer energy drink company, with a global distribution and recognition in international markets including South Africa, Haiti, Afghanistan, Qatar, Guatemala, Canada, El Salvador, and more with distribution pending in 21 countries. The Company is the number one provider of energy drinks to the U.S. Military, with contracts to serve military bases world-wide. Pit Bull is also the first Energy Drink approved by the American Diabetes Association as a sugar-free food product for diabetic consumers.

Real Estate – Start Development International, Hospitality Opportunity

2016
In 2016, Black Legend Capital worked on Start Development International (SDI), a global acquisition development hospitality company with the mission to acquire prime properties around the world. It provides consulting, investment, acquisition, business development, project financing, architecture, design, technology and hospitality solutions to invigorate brands and entitle them for further development or sale in the market place.
 
Its client base spans from the Americas to the Caribbean, in effort to connect travelers with the most desirable locations around the world. Black Legend Capital worked on a roll up of several assets to include in SDI as a public vehicle traded in the United States. Current portfolio projects are projected to value over $500 million within a 5-year holding period.

Healthcare Technology – MediPortal, Health Record Platform Opportunity

In 2015 and 2016, Black Legend Capital has been working on MediPortal, a Health Record Platform opportunity, headquartered in New York. This company seeks to provide all patient medical data in one place to present, educate, and facilitate the consumer in their future health making decisions.
 
The company defines its own space within the market by providing a solution to the disarray of information available to medical professionals and patients. After years of R&D, the company has positioned itself to take a large stake in its $64 billion marketplace.

Consumer Products – Illegal Restaurant Group, Restaurant Chain

In 2015/2016, Black Legend Capital worked on a fast casual restaurant chain opportunity headquartered in Colorado. This burger brand was founded in 2013, and their mission has been to provide healthy alternatives to fast food restaurants by serving only all-natural grass-fed beef and organic produce.

In 2015, Black Legend Capital worked on Stone Group, a mobile phone manufacturing opportunity headquartered in California. With warehouses in Texas, Florida and mainland China. Core businesses in mobile phone refurbishment, handset distribution, and global parts supply.
 
Their customers include service providers such as Verizon, T-Mobile, and Sprint, as well as top mobile phone insurance providers such as Asurion.

In 2015, Black Legend Capital worked on an oil & gas JV development opportunity in Roosevelt County, Montana. The operator is among the largest natural gas producers in the state of Texas with substantial assets and cash flow.
 
Opportunity covers over 22,000 net acres with potential 528 million barrels of total oil in place on 88 sections.

In 2015, Black Legend Capital worked on an oil asset development JV opportunity in Brazos County, TX. 20,000 net acres to develop and experienced operator with proven revenue and exit model.

Oil & Gas – CFC & Britlind, LA and MS Oil Asset Development

2014
In 2014, Black Legend Capital was working with CFC & Britlind on an oil asset development opportunity in Louisiana and Mississippi structured as a turnkey direct participation of 11 well program.
The Operator has a very successful history of working in these specific areas of LA and MS. To date, it had drilled over 90 wells with a high success and completion ratio in 25 distinct production acquisitions and/or development programs, producing over 3,000 BOPD since 2006.
 
Furthermore, Operator experience includes building substantial reserves for the 2nd largest producer in the Monroe District (20th largest in the state of LA), which was subsequently sold to a Private Equity group (HM Capital Partners) for $111 million.

Consumer Products – Retail Food Opportunity

2014

In 2014, Black Legend Capital worked on a retail food opportunity headquartered in Florida. The company has over 35 years of food experience, and is set out to create all natural food products that both taste great and are good for their customers. Their products are all natural, high in proteins, fiber and with the best complex carbohydrates. In addition, they are also low in calories, sodium, and fat. All of their pizzas are made free from preservatives. The company distributes nationally through the largest, best-known distributors such as Whole Foods, Target and Kroger.

Oil & Gas – LA and MS Oil Asset Development

2014

In 2014, Black Legend Capital worked on an oil asset development opportunity in Louisiana and Mississippi with the operator (CFC and Britlind joint venture) that is structured as a turnkey direct participation of 11 well program.

The Operator has a very successful history of working in these specific areas of LA and MS. To date, it has drilled over 90 wells with a high success and completion ratio in 25 distinct production acquisitions and/or development programs, producing over 3,000 BOPD since 2006.

In 2014, Black Legend Capital worked on a producing asset acquisition opportunity in Sterling County, TX. Property has approximately 20,000 gross acres with over 45 vertical wells. Current production is approximately 500/400 Net BOEPD. Zone targets include Wolfcamp A & B, Cisco, and Canyon Sands.

The opportunity had numerous low cost drilling opportunities and additional low risk exploitation/exploration potential. Infrastructure systems – gas lines, roads, electric lines, rock quarry, water storage pits, fresh water wells – is already in place.

Technology – Emerging Market E-Commerce

2013/2014

In 2014, Black Legend Capital represented the most successful and truly global online venture builder in the world - an emerging market e-commerce company headquartered in Europe - it incubated more than 100 fast growing online companies all over the world.

Grown and exited 30+ online worldwide companies in the last 13 years, where some have been bought by eBay, Groupon, VeriSign, and NBC Universal. Many of the incubated e-commerce companies have seen more than a 10x increase in valuation over the last couple of years.

 

Oil & Gas – LNG Export Facilities

2013/2014

In 2014, Black Legend Capital was a developing partner of the “LNG Export from United States to Pacific Rim countries” project. Black Legend Capital’s partners have experience in LNG development with Texaco (now Chevron) for exporting the LNG from Indonesia and Australia to China in the late 1990’s with cooperation of Pertamina.

Oil & Gas – Oil Facility

2013

In 2013, Black Legend Capital worked on a midstream opportunity, a liquid storage terminal facility in Texas. The facility provided liquid storage services for refined fuel products, crude oil, inorganic chemicals and petrochemicals, as well as product acceptance and redistribution by barge, rail, truck or pipeline. Other specialty services were offered to customers such as blending of material according to specification.

Oil & Gas – Oklahoma Producing Assets

2013

In 2014, Black Legend Capital worked on a producing asset acquisition opportunity in Oklahoma. Current net production of approximately 1,300 BOEPD from multiple, stacked shallow oil reservoirs.  Over 77,000 gross acres of de-risked, mostly contiguous leasehold in Oklahoma.

Proved Developed Producing (PDP) net reserves of 3.6 MMBO and 6.6 BCF; estimated Proved Non-Producing net reserves of 570.8 MBO and 2.3 BCF; and estimated Proved UnDeveloped (PUD) net reserves of 9.5 MMBO and 32.0 BCF from offset 10 acre drilling locations.

Oil & Gas – Vermillion Parish, LA

2013

In 2013, Black Legend Capital worked on the sale of a producing asset acquisition opportunity onshore in Louisiana. Property had approximately 3,000 gross acres with 12 operated oil wells and 1 SWD well & converting 2nd SWD well.

The opportunity had multiple recompletion opportunities, numerous low cost drilling opportunities, and additional low risk exploitation/exploration potential.

2013

In 2013, Black Legend Capital worked on a consumer beverage opportunity headquartered in Arizona. It is a beverage and snack company which has built a base infrastructure to support brand incubation and growth through its network of distributors across the country.

Management has more than 30 years of consumer products/beverage experience.

Oil & Gas – West Beaumont County, Texas Project

2013

BL Capital structured the Taylor Swift joint operation on a one new well drilling project in 302 acres. The "Yegua" Field was discovered in 2009 by Samson Resources, Cimarex Energy and Ballard Oil.

Estimated Proved Undeveloped (PUD) reserves are up to 6.2 million barrels of condensate and 83 billion cubic feet (bcf) of gas.  It was acquired by Cimarex Energy and producing after 3 months from completion.

Oil & Gas – Darst Creek Field, Texas Project

2012/2013

BL Capital structured a joint operation with a Shanghai fund on three leases approximately 3,000 acres. The project consists of 57 work-overs and a new drilling program with up to 100 development drilling locations.

Estimated Proved Developed Producing (PDP) reserves in the 75 workovers are up to 5.1 million barrels of oil. Estimated Proved Undeveloped (PUD) reserves in the new development drilling locations are up to 10.8 million barrels of oil.

Oil & Gas – Tenney Creek Field, Texas Project

2012/2013

BL Capital structured a partnership on one lease approximately 400 acres. The project consists of 21 work-overs and a new drilling program with 20 development drilling locations.

Estimated Proved Developed Producing (PDP) reserves on the 21 workovers are 521,850 barrels of oil. Estimated Proved Undeveloped (PUD) reserves in the new development drilling locations are 1.1 million barrels of oil.

Oil & Gas – Illinois Basin Project

2011

BL Capital assisted Navitas Land and Mineral expand operations in 2011 by opening different fields, implementing a work-over /drilling program and increasing oil production by more than 800%.

The Illinois Basin is an interior Cratonic basin covering central and southern Illinois, southwestern Indiana, and western Kentucky. The Company has current leases in the basin and is in the process of selecting others with an additional potential 3.7 million barrels of producible reserves. The Company applies low-cost operating practices and employs a variety of innovative methods to enhance production and maximize reservoir drainage.

Mining – Indonesia Mining Project

2011

In 2011, BL Capital consulted in the business development efforts of a US publicly-traded holding company, Borneo Resource Investments. The Company has an investment platform comprising proven precious metals and natural resource concession assets in the Republic of Indonesia. Borneo has targeted a total concession platform of 250,000 hectares. This would make the Company one of the largest concession owners in the region.

Borneo’s current natural resource portfolio includes two gold projects and several concessions with high quality thermal or steaming coal for use in the power generation facilities.

In 2008, Black Legend Capital’s team member was involved in the business development efforts for a healthy drinks company. Founded in 2000, the Company is a consumer beverage company known for producing organic drinks. Its product line includes fresh juices, smoothies, energy drinks, sorbets, and frozen superfruit packs. The Company’s principal operation is in California with subsidiary operations worldwide.

In 2008, Black Legend Capital’s team member was involved in the business development efforts for healthy snack company. Founded in the 1990s, the Company is a consumer product company known for its bars and snacks, which was launched in 2004. Its award-winning, high-quality and all-natural snacks are made with whole fruits and nuts to satisfy consumers’ needs for healthy and convenient snacks.

In 2008, Black Legend Capital’s team member was involved in the business development efforts for a fast-food restaurant company. Founded in the 1960s, the Company is an American restaurant chain with over 30 stores in Oregon and Washington.

The Company’s quick-service restaurants are dominant in the greater Portland/Vancouver area. It is known to offer natural, seasonal, and locally farmed products.
