In 2017-2018, Black Legend Capital acted as a consulting advisor to Corix Bioscience, a California based company producing CBD and genetics in the cannabis industry. Black Legend Capital advised the company on several acquisitions targets and capital structure. At the time of the transaction, it was one of the few companies that used tissue culture as the main source of propagation. Corix was in contract with some of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies, and America’s leading health care providers.
The company had exclusive domestic and international cultivation and distribution licenses, which got sold with the company to a Canadian buyer.
