In 2018, Black Legend Capital acted as a consulting advisor to PharmaGreen Biotech, a cannabis biotechnology company based in Deroche, Canada. PharmaGreen Biotech had an innovative proprietary 62,000 sq. ft eco-friendly, semi-automated tissue culture, clean-room laboratory built on a 25 acres land, located in Deroche, British Colombia. Black Legend Capital advised the company on capital structure and on completing the cannabis biotech complex.
At the time of the transaction, the complex was the only cannabis research and production one-stop shop, and the first genomic lab in western Canada.
